What Our Clients are Saying

“Fantastic treatment and accommodations”
I took a team of 26 employees for a training event and we stayed at this Hotel. I understood from the beginning it was brand new but had no idea how nice this place actually was. The rooms were very large and included a comfortable king size bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Each room has it's own back porch and because this hotel sits on a hill I had a view of the battlefield from my back door. I could see where there were re-enactment tents being set up on the battlefield, very cool. I also thought the entire staff was not only friendly but went out of the way to accommodate any need me or my team had. They all knew our names after a very short period of time. The food was also top notch. We were served real crab cakes and fillets for dinner. The meal presentation was well done and the food was top notch. You could tell the owners went out of their way to find an executive chef. The hotel has free wi-fi throughout, there's a very large pond and they hand out fishing poles at your request. Nighttime was extremely quiet, it really was quite relaxing. …. I believe this place is easily the nicest place to stay in the Gettysburg area.

“Great place for a corporate retreat …”
We came to the Lodges to take advantage of its quiet but well appointed facilities to hold a 2-day corporate strategic planning retreat. Several lodges sit atop one of the highest ridges in Gettysburg, providing great views of its historic battlefields. The lodges appear to be very rustic-- and blend perfectly into the hills near the Gettysburg Battlefield Park. But don't be fooled --inside is a wide array of modern amenities--very comfortable beds, flat screen TVs, a fully appointed kitchen, ceiling fans, modern bathrooms with all the latest amenities, and furnished with beautiful antique desks, benches, rugs, and bed frames. Our lodge had a back porch with 2 comfortable chairs that we used as we sipped our coffee and took in the scenic view. A fishing pond and a really nice walking trail are part of the amenities onsite, but we didn't have time to take advantage of them. The main building hosts a reception area, a large bar/gathering place, several meeting rooms and a grand hall, suitable for large events and wedding receptions. When we were there, final touches in the construction of the main hall and the last few lodges on the hill were just being completed. Nonetheless, it was still remarkably quiet and clean! We were impressed by how friendly the staff was and how they helped to ensure our corporate retreat went well, complete with full technical support and services. The meeting room we used was wired to support our presentations on a big screen and had a great sound system built in. We plan to return again next year, and incorporate a tour of Gettysburg as part of our retreat!

“Company Retreat …”
I hosted our quarterly company retreat here to break up the monotony of having meetings in hotels. The grounds were absolutely wonderful and exceeded all of the expectations of our team. Everyone had a wonderful time here, and are planning personal vacations here during the summer. The facilities had everything we needed to make our meeting perfect. The staff was extremely accommodating and took care of all of our needs. My team has requested that I book all of our meetings at this location from now on!

 “The Lodges at Gettysburg …”
Thank you and the staff for wonderful accommodations and excellent service for my law firm's business retreat last weekend at The Lodges at Gettysburg. I only received positive reviews from my partners.  The lodges were comfortable, nicely appointed and clean and the catered meals were very good and were served hot where called for. We very much enjoyed our stay. Several aspects of our accommodations were particularly appreciated.  The first is that we had a private dining room for our meals and the conference room was comfortable and just what we needed. Add all of the above to the stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the quiet of the location and you have a lovely, comfortable retreat setting.
